The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of all New Balance eCommerce sites and supporting applications globally. Responsibilities include leading a team of Software QA engineers (local and outsourced), partnering with the engineering teams responsible for these applications, creating innovative ways to automate and expand software testing, and compiling and presenting test results. Ultimately driving and constantly improving product quality.

Partner to build a DevOps culture through extension of CI/CD best practices.
Drive continual reduction of manual QA efforts related to the release through the implementation of automated test execution.
Develop and continue to drive KPIs for objective quality measurements.
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through process enhancement, automation, including efficient use of contract QA resources.
Seeks out, evaluates, and recommends tools that can help facilitate improvements to the QA process both from an automation and an organizational standpoint
Manage vendor relationships, and overall testing infrastructure and its evolution
Addresses impediments to daily work accordingly
Manage and mentor staff including annual staff appraisals and performance reviews.
Assist in roadmap and resource planning to meet the project deliverables.
Provide technical and strategic leadership in the QA department.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
BS or equivalent in computer science or equivalent field required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to rapid project changes
Strong working experience with automated testing suites
Ability to work within an Agile framework
Experience working within a DevOps culture
