Full Job Description
Leverage primary and secondary research, customer feedback, and internet best practices,develop creative ideas, features, and functions to best serve our customers online. Continuously research and define online customer experience best practices and translate and implement the research into practices specific to Home Depot eBusiness, to improve customer success Manage and execute marketing/media projects and strategies, as well as, each phase of the online marketing/media process. Develop rapport and relationships with third party vendors and contractors. Implement a process that is conducive for creating and maintaining up-to-date trends in interactive marketing/media and develop Point of View documents/presentations on new trends or special opportunities.
This role will be responsible for oversight and execution of manual customer communications. The right candidate should be able to accomplish the following as well as have previous experience:
Work with business partners to understand business need
Draft clear/concise communication
Work with care to avoid mistakes
Send communications through THD communication tools
Track deliverability of communications
Track effectiveness of communications through SQL queries and analysis
Understand priority of requests and work accordingly
Tell story of success or failure of these communications through use of slides and spreadsheets
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Utilize Web analysis tools, customer feedback, and primary/secondary research to develop an integrated view of the customer, key trends, and a view of how best we can serve customers online.
Strategic ability to envision new features and functions that meet business needs in a way that is both feasible and practical.
Stay aware of online customer experience best practices and translate into insights specific to Home Depot eBusiness. '
Investigate specific areas of the customer experience and develop fact-based recommendations on how to improve our online experience and/or better align results with business objectives.
Manage and execute marketing and media strategy, including but not limited to, e-mail marketing, search engine marketing, special promotions, and affiliate marketing, in order to maximize business and marketing objectives.
Act as daily project manager for assigned marketing/media projects and each phase of the online marketing/media process: strategy, planning, launch, optimization, and measurement/analysis.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors including vendor solicitations.
Stay up-to-date and advise of the latest trends in interactive marketing/media and develop Point of View documents/presentations on new trends or special opportunities.

Reports to Senior Manager.
This position has no direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Experience prioritizing multiple objectives with limited time and resources
Experience with writing customer-facing communications
Experience with SQL and pulling data/drawing conclusions
