The National Services Center located in Northwest Phoenix, has an opening for a HRIS Analyst II - Data & Reporting.

The HRIS Analyst II acts as an advisor to both HRIS internal teams as well as business partners providing data query and reporting solutions and support in documenting, standardizing, optimizing and testing systems and processes related to business operations. This position meets with various teams to understand the scope, business requirements, pain points and desired outcomes associated with projects or new development. This role is required to have a broad set of problem solving techniques, open mindset and capable of strategic and tactical thinking.

You will be expected to participate in daily coordination with teams to understand customer requests and issues and to support the business objectives, working collaboratively. In addition, you will be responsible for prioritizing and structuring work for lower level staff and completing tasks timely. You will also be expected to apply creative problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and improve operations. This position will be responsible for probing, clarifying, and documenting business needs to create optimal data and reporting solutions for HRIS clients.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strong expertise in gathering information needed for projects and requests using interviewing and voice of customer techniques
Observes HRIS systems and processes; can dissect into a visual flowchart and compile detailed design or requirement documents
Provides knowledge and insight into recommendations for data-driven business solutions
Identifies gaps and uses critical thinking to analyze the most effective and efficient way to solution
Strong communicator; active listener who can draw out clear responses and probe for "missing" information

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Active in the development, review, testing and implementation of system and process enhancements or projects including the preparation and review of associated documentation
Provide recommendations to resolve system and process errors; identify opportunities for more efficient or effective ways to perform operations
Use experience and knowledge to consider improvements to broader HRIS landscape
Develop and review user procedures, guidelines and documentation
Lead in the seamless transition of product delivery to business partners

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Education Level.

Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology

Experience Level:
Four years of experience in chosen field; or
Three years in a large-scale HR environment

Skills and Background:
Strong data and reporting experience across the Human Resource functions including: Data Set-up, Self-Service, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, Customer Relationship Management (ServiceNow), and Talent Management
Expert problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong listening skills
Solid communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts to both a highly technical audience and to business-oriented leaders
Commitment to the highest level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness
Advanced level skill in BI Publisher, QlikView, Oracle BI Cloud/OBIEE or similar tools
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Power Point and Project
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Visio or other workflow diagram software programs
