Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our team in Franklin, TN. In this role, you will work with experienced engineering teams to identify, design, build, test, and help bring biometric Livescan solution(s) and features to market.

You will identify and assess opportunities to create products and/or features that are compelling and achievable.
You will obtain a deep understanding of the customer and serve as their voice.
You will represent and evangelize Livescan product(s) across all levels of the company, creating and communicating product roadmaps and vision.
You will inspire and motivate the product team through successes and challenges.
You will create meaningful executive updates.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to influence and inform company-wide product and solution convergence efforts, be mentored by experienced product leaders, and participate in execution of new concepts that are leading the industry.

Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):
Manage Product IRAD investment, working with business unit leaders on business plans, ROI, and SWOT analysis
Create, maintain, and represent the product roadmap within the company and to customers
Define and communicate the product vision and end-of-life strategy(s) within the company
Identify, evaluate, and select the product ideas to implement, vetting them to ensure alignment with targeted business outcomes
Identify and collaborate with other Product Managers to identify and deliver technology reuse opportunities within the company and ensure intra-product dependencies are addressed
Analyze potential partnership opportunities to enhance company product offerings
Create and own execution of the product roadmap within Engineering, including activities such as product backlog management, contributing to the software delivery process, and/or to the product design
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product, supporting bids, informing pricing strategy, and supporting maintenance and deployments
Support product marketing with sales training and marketing communications on launch plans and activities such as New Product Introduction (NPI) and Go To Market (GTM).
Represent the company with the Identity and Biometric industry as needed, making presentations on products to current or potential customers, creating white papers, etc.
Visit customers to gather product and servicefeedback and identify their problems that need solving
Manage hardware and software vendor relationships, including contract negotiation as needed
In addition to the Essential Functions, also performs similar work-related duties as assigned.

Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree in Engineering or Biometrics a plus.
3+ years Product Management experience
Experience working in Agile methodologies
2+ years in the biometrics field preferred
Experience in managing vendor relationships and agreements preferred
Successfully pass IDEMIA and Department of Homeland Security background checks
U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship) required

Travel Requirement, Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Occasional overnight travel as required; should not exceed 25% of the time
General office environment. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
Office environment where the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
