Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie is seeking a flexible and service oriented Recruiting Administrator for our Phoenix, Arizona office.

We are looking for an experienced recruiting administrator to personally partner with office administrators and other hiring managers to post, screen, and fill staff-level legal support positions as well as corporate administration positions. The Recruiting Administrator is a full-time exempt position reporting to the CHRO but engages regularly with other professionals on the HR teams.

Our HR team is proud to be a high-performing, supportive and congenial group of professionals all working together in support of the firm’s goals and initiatives. We centrally support ten offices in five states for approximately 600 employees and partners. Our firm is a highly respected Am Law 200 law firm that provides a wide range of legal services in the areas of intellectual property, litigation, business transactions, regulatory and government relations.

Primary Responsibilities
This position singularly executes the day-to-day recruiting and related administrative responsibilities for the centralized recruiting of non-attorney staff for nine offices. The number of open positions at one time averages three to seven openings. This position partners with hiring managers and provides a variety of services as requested, including drafting job postings, posting jobs, partnering with hiring managers on sourcing options, completing phone screens, completing reference checks, and drafting offer letters. This role is also responsible for accurate maintenance of the applicant tracking system, electronic files, providing recruiting reports and analysis and other recruiting administration activities. Our firm is a federal contractor and strict adherence to administrative and compliance related processes is a must. This position may also have the opportunity to participate in the training and educating of hiring managers on recruiting skills and the compliance requirements impacting recruiting activities.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree; additional years of professional HR experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Two to five years of in-house recruiting administration responsibilities similar to those described above
Professional experience must include working in an integrated team of other HR or recruiting professionals
End-user experience with applicant tracking and internet-based recruiting sites
California and multi-state HR or recruiting experience is desired but not required
Experience with or working knowledge of federal contractor requirements impacting recruiting is preferred but not required

The ability to navigate the intersections of recruiting processes and the processes and needs of other teams and hiring managers is essential. Other competencies included:

Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills
Proficiency utilizing one or more applicant tracking systems in the performance of everyday recruiting responsibilities and reporting
Working knowledge of the legal regulations and best practices related to interviewing and selection as well as general knowledge about human resource regulations
Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated sense of urgency with desire to execute quickly
Impeccable attention to detail, with demonstrated accountability when mistakes do occur
Knowledge to recommend and document process improvements as well as follow approved processes
Ability to exercise good judgment, including knowing when to seek direction or engage others
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels and with varying interpersonal styles, including giving and receiving feedback and being accepting of different approaches
Openness to learning and to accommodating the unique requirements of a law firm and federal contractor
Commitment to maintaining complete confidentiality and to exercise discretion with sensitive information
Ability to travel overnight as needed several times a year
