PepsiCo is seeking a savvy social media strategist to join our in-house content & publishing team. This role is part of an exciting group of content creators who help bring PepsiCo stories to life everyday - from the impactful work the PepsiCo Foundation does around the world, to stories of innovation from our research & development teams, to collaborating with the incredible brands that make up our PepsiCo portfolio, no two days are the same here. We’re reimagining what “corporate content” looks like and are looking for someone with the right mix of experience and vision to be a part of it all.
Leads organic & paid media strategy, development & execution across PepsiCo’s corporate social & digital channels
Works with the broader content & publishing team, reporting to the head of content, to develop holistic storytelling opportunities to execute across multiple channels
Manages and maintains corporate web sites to keep information timely and accurate, working with internal and external partners
Leads management of social agency creative partner(s) in content development, and drives optimization of content to improve social engagement performance
Works with agency to execute paid media strategy
Oversees community management team across owned corporate social channels
Works with a variety of internal partners to develop, deliver and execute content strategies for various initiatives, events, holidays, awards, and conferences
Supports and assists in development of digital activation plans for offline events, and digital only activations, such as sponsorships or branded content publishing partnerships
3-5 years of experience in social media
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to follow through.
Keen attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in digital content creation, social channel management and social listening
Experience managing external agencies
Excellent copywriting skills
Passion for social media, mobile and digital and social media trends
Possess a solid understanding of Public Relations fundamentals
Collaborative mindset and work style
Intermediate understanding of digital development processes and / or experience with basic web publishing tools such as WordPress
Understanding of web analytics, social listening tools and social communications platforms
Self-starter with ability to complete assignments within tight deadlines.
Bachelors' Degree required, preferably in business or marketing; Masters a plus
