As a fast-growing innovative company with sales growing on a weekly basis, we are rapidly expanding and in need additional talent to join Orb’s IT Operations department in Phoenix, Arizona. The type of individual that is desired would be able to work within a team of technical individuals, as well as independently manage the technology aspects of an enterprise Health IT organization. Job Requirements
Design, develop and integrate our native mobile Android applications.
Research, define and implement new and innovative features
Work with other Engineers to build OrbHealth’s Personal Health app for Android
Work with stakeholders to discover requirements and identify core problems to be solved
Participate in sprint planning meetings to properly scope and provide high level estimates for proposed features
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain end-to-end mobile software solutions for our analytic products
Work with designers to convert designs into exquisite user interfaces for Android devices
Provide mentorship for junior developers
Design application UI by considering the user experience, easy operation. Apply design data created by other graphics designer and medical illustrators
Knowledge And Skills
Significant development experience with Android development using Android SDK, Android Studio, Eclipse, and Gradle
Performance analysis and tuning experience including memory usage, CPU utilization, leak checking, etc. on the Android platform
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Experience working with remote data via REST APIs and JSON as well as integrating with third-party libraries and APIs
Strong object-oriented design and programming skills
Working experience with SVN(or similar version control systems)
Well-versed in agile development disciplines and principles (preferably Scrum)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Candidate with experience in creation of any health care related application
