The Marketing & Communications Associate will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing and public relations plans for Spectrum for Living (“SFL”), including the design and production of all associated collateral. In addition, s/he will be responsible for the maintenance of the agency website and social media channels and the production of the annual report, event press releases, fundraising appeals, the agency newsletter, and other institutional communications. This position also coordinates and manages SFL’s volunteer function to ensure adequate volunteer support at all SFL Development events.
Implements the production of a wide range of marketing communications to promote the services provided by SFL, including the agency’s day programs, community services, Spectrum from the Heart and information packets to be used by President & CEO, Board Members and executive management team for corporate outreach. The Marketing & Communications Associate will work closely with the Development Manager to produce public relations and marketing materials to further enhance fundraising goals and objectives. Will act as the point person with media outlets (on-line publications, newspapers, radio, television, etc.).
The ideal candidate must have the ability to take initiative and collaborate with others, the ability to work independently, and negotiation skills.
