Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Creating, maintaining and managing case files; Coordinating the firm’s daily court calendar; Confirming and managing attorneys’ daily calendar and daily reminders; Ensuring all deadlines are met; Managing a high volume of phone calls with clients, courts, insurance companies and adverse parties; Electronically filing legal documents in Federal and State courts; Draft, process and serve legal documents. e.g. S/C, BP, D&I, Motions and NOI; Processing all discovery demands and responses. Minimum requirements for the position include:
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable top quality Senior Litigation experience in plaintiff personal injury and in managing a high volume caseload. A Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of relevant coursework and work experience is required. Paralegal certification is preferred but not required. Spanish is a major plus. Self-motivation, a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team dynamic is required.
