Job description:
This sales position will be responsible for new business development of electronic receivables and merchant solutions to Commercial Banking customers in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

The sales consulting efforts focus on the technologies that streamline the entire process from invoice creation through payment processing, reporting and reconciliation.

Specific responsibilities include:
Consulting and selling solutions like:
Electronic Bill/Invoice Presentment and Payment
Payment gateways
Card processing
ACH / eCheck
Fraud solutions
Consistent achievement of meeting business financial expectations
Successfully partnering with senior bankers and treasury management consultants to identify prospects and new business opportunities
Leading the sales processes, including developing and presenting proposals and RFP’s, overseeing credit reviews, negotiating contracts, completing appropriate paperwork, and assisting in the integration of new relationships
Consulting clients on best practices related to data security, compliance and other regulatory structures impacting the card processing industry

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, or treasury management

Desired Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Solid problem solving and decision making skills
Experience meeting or exceeding sales goals with respect to products and/or services
Ability to deliver dynamic presentations to business clients
Ability to make effective sales presentations that win client's business, based on your recommendations
Ability to present to senior level executives
Expert consultative sales skills
Knowledge and understanding of treasury management industry: sales and service
A BA/BS degree or higher in business or finance

Other Desired Qualifications
7+ years B2B sales experience in Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Commercial Card, or commercial card
Experience partnering with Treasury Management and Wholesale Banking
Experience creating and presenting thought leadership content at Treasury Management or Payment Industry events

Job Expectations

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
