Benefit Specialist

Raymour & Flanigan, a billion dollar furniture retailer based in Liverpool, NY, is searching for an experienced Benefit Specialist to join our Human Resource Team. Key Behavioral Attributes and Experience:
Administer Leaves of Absence and COBRA
Calculate and process adjustments for benefit deductions
Perform dependent benefit eligibility audits
Assist associates with benefit coverage questions
Assist associates with benefit enrollments and changes
Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments and outside agencies
Maintain accurate electronic personnel files
Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
Excellent verbal, written, and professional communication skills
Motivated self-starter and quick to grasp new concepts
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Solid follow-up skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Strong math skills

1-2 years of experience in a professional environment
Associate degree in related field preferred

This is a Full Time position.
