This is a temporary, non-benefited position that will start in early May and end no later than mid-August, 2018. This position will work approximately 40 hours per week.
This position will assist in the day-to-day logistics of the UWG Summer Conference Program. Duties include lining sports fields, delivering ice for sports camps, managing traffic flow in Z-6 during camp/conference meals, painting curbs around campus during slower conference periods as well as various other tasks.
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Valid Driver’s License; Not currently enrolled as a student at UWG .
Strong communication, organization and customer service skills. Attention to details is important. Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and members of the community at-large.
Customer Service experience.
Experience working with minors. Prior summer conference or Higher Education experience preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position will spend much of their time outside; must be able to perform physical tasks outdoors in summer months.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Frequent bending, stooping, and standing for long periods of time are required.
Ability to walk to various areas on campus in all terrain and various temperatures.
