We're looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our highly skilled IT Operations team and help us scale and evolve our platform to the demands of our ever growing business and customer needs. Ideally you are a security minded individual with a flair for network engineering as we continue to grow and scale our networks to new horizons.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, this is a hands on role working with an agile, highly skilled group of fellow sysadmins and technical staff.
Collaborate with various engineering teams, both internal and partners, and provide a high level of service and support on our development and high-volume production systems.
Architect, install, configure, monitor and optimize enterprise computer systems and networks.
Identify and improve information security implementations as it relates to the network, systems, devices, and access for regulatory and compliance requirements.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying processes that need to be automated and develop tools to build, maintain, and monitor systems to improve our platform.
Create comprehensive documentation with results reproducible by others.
Participate in on-call rotation to support our production systems.

Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related disciplines. Additional training, technical certification, and/or years experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure services or related field with at least 5+ years of RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or Debian Linux experience.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, both independently and with group.
The ability to own an issue and follow it through to resolution. This includes the ability to
communicate and work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Hands on experience in networking: VPNs, Firewalls, BGP, load balancers, and switches etc.
An in-depth knowledge of Linux: networking, file systems, security, and the kernel.
A strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking: hardware and host-based routing,
VLANs, firewalls, and load balancing.
Experience with KVM, Xen, VMWare or other data center service virtualization.
Expert knowledge of troubleshooting tools: tcpdump, netstat, iostat, traceroute, etc.
Experience with monitoring and performance analysis tools: Zabbix, Cacti, Icinga, etc.
Excellent skills in scripting and automation in bash, Perl, Ruby and/or Python.
Experience being on-call in a 24x7 production environment.
Experience working with software engineering teams and supporting engineering projects.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills.
US work authorization required.

Desired Skills:
Experience with large systems deployments using Puppet or Chef.
Experience with Amazon AWS and associated services, such as S3, EC2, etc.
Experience with storage technologies and arrays e.g. NFS, SANs, DAS etc.
Experience with container orchestration systems such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence).
Experience working in a team utilizing agile methodologies and tool sets.
Experience working in SAS-70 or PCI environments.
Familiarity with GDPR, PSD2, or other compliance regulations.
