WUSA9 is in search of talented college students looking for enriching paid internship opportunities. Come join WUSA9, the CBS affiliate in the Washington DC market and a division of TEGNA Inc., a Fortune 500 global digital media company, for our 2020 Spring Intern Program.
Production Internship: Join a dynamic team that produces Get Up DC! for WUSA9. Interns will work closely with show producers writing scripts, creating graphics, editing b-roll, VOSOTS and more. Interns will provide studio support during tapings, including guest management and demo set-ups.
Must be pursuing Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0;
Must be well organized, detail oriented, adaptable and flexible;
Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
Must have strong social media skills, including expert knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other platforms;
Non-linear editing experience is a plus.
