Taos is immediately hiring an Infrastructure Operations Manager for a cutting-edge tech company in San Francisco, CA !

You are a technical professional with a passion for technology services. You have excellent knowledge of operations across networks, hosting, cloud, and IT infrastructure at offices, data centers, and other remote sites. Your natural leadership and excellent communication abilities allow you to both manage teams and communicate with those at the executive level with ease. You have a flexible attitude but are tenacious when it comes to meeting and exceeding your goals. You are eager to join a passionate team dedicated to building products that help transform people's lives.

What you’ll be doing:
Defining and operationalizing IT Operations strategy and capabilities, inclusive of suppliers and IT L3 Engineering departments (Service Owners) for corporate systems
Preparing and executing supplier assessment and selection process with IT leadership and Procurement
Managing day-to-day operations to meet availability and reliability requirements
Establishing and driving supplier SLA achievement in detection, protection, and restoration, communicating on incidents for IT scope
Establishing and driving event management and problem management processes with Service Owners, creating visibility to top categories, and tracking Service Owner remediation, response
Managing Operations service providers overall performance, driving business review activities and improvements
Partnering with IT Service Desk Management for alignment of process and incident communication delivery and execute within that framework
Partner with Product/Service organizations in support of Fitbit’s customer on IT operational matters

What you’ll bring with you:
Prior experience in IT or Service Provider/MSP operations roles with leadership responsibilities as a Senior Manager
ITIL Service Manager or similar TSIA qualifications
Savvy and excellent communication skills in writing and communicating with Executives about incidents and restoration
Afterhours availability for critical incident direction and communication
Knowledge and past experience in Network management roles or sufficient depth as Hosting/Cloud OPS and support management
Ability to travel to other sites and countries, at most a week per quarter
