The Senior Manager, Supply Chain - eCommerce is responsible for strategy and execution around customer supply chain and network design for our digital demand channels. This role works with various operations leaders throughout the company as well as champions vendor supported solutions when necessary to deliver strong customer replenishment for the full Kraft Heinz assortment. This role is directly responsible for product supply and customer compliance for ship-to-home retails who source directly from Kraft Heinz as well as indirectly for click & collect and last-mile delivery customers.
The role interacts closely with the sales organization, data analytics (digital shelf), finance, and other verticals within eCommerce. As the eCommerce supply chain team is located outside the central logistics reporting structure, an ability to partner with and drive results without direct reporting lines is critical. This includes close interactions with Supply & Operational Planning, Transportation, Warehousing, Brick and Mortar Customer Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for leading a team of supply chain owners who partner with our retailer replenishment teams as we collectively service the shifting online consumer demand. This role will be expected to dive into the details of the business and distill a clear plan of action out of complex issues around customer non-compliance, service, and in-stocks. This leader is empowered to think broader than the traditional customer supply chain scope; identifying new agile distribution capabilities, driving resolution with the brand and sales team around assortment gaps/redundancies, and communicating broadly to the organization what it takes to win operationally with our emerging digital retailers. This will require strategic thinking, a six-sigma based approach to prioritize and solve complex problems, and utilize high judgement to drive trade-offs.
This role is key in transforming eCommerce into a highly agile organization to enable sustained growth.
Partner in setting the eCommerce Supply Chain & Operations strategy to maximize service levels for all direct customers
End to end ownership over service performance and customer measured vendor compliance. Addressing key operational metrics including item availability, fill rate, and on-time delivery.
Facilitate cross company knowledge share of operationally relevant eCommerce industry developments prompting preparation and action (i.e. dark stores, micro fulfillment strategies).
Enable our eCommerce Sales teams to develop and grow strategic partnerships for both new and existing customers- including but not limited to direct fulfillment capabilities such as drop shipping and marketplace selling
Ability to demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for inventing cutting edge ideas to drive innovation and results.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree highly preferred
A minimum five (5+) years of Supply Chain experience is required- preferably within CPG working across a portfolio of products and highly preferably with some eCommerce experience
Prior people management experience required
Proficiency in Excel; manipulating, managing, and interpreting large data sets. Minimum starting requirements include VLOOKUPS, INDEX MATCH, and pivot tables with an expectation of learning VBA
Thorough understanding and comfort using MS Office applications
SAP, Tableau, and Four Kites experience preferred
Six sigma master black belt is a plus
