Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Laborer to join our team for upcoming project dealing with fuels. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to as working outside and underground storage tanks. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Duties:
- Must operate pressure washer and be able to waterblast.
- Perform general labor tasks, including cleaning, and organizing jobsite.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a jobsite/field work environment is required.
- Experience operating power tools and hand tools is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment is a significant asset.
- Previous experience with equipment such as waterblaster, pumps, bush cutter.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects is required for this role.
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating power tools and hand tools.
- Familiarity with operating a forklift and other heavy machinery.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment.
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Ability to work on an assembly line and fabricate and assemble products.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet production goals and deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
