The Customer Service Representative answers general questions, issues library cards, resolves customer account issues, collects fines/fees and checks-out, checks-in and assists with shelving library materials. Reliability, confidentiality, an eye for detail, and a happy disposition are essential. A high school diploma or GED is required.
High school diploma or GED.
Two (2) years of customer service experience which involved cashiering, data entry, analyzing accounts and/or complaint resolution.
LICENSE(S) and/or CERTIFICATION(S):
Some positions require valid driver's license with a good driving record.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY(IES):
PC/data entry skills
Effective communication skills.
English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
