Our Email Solutions team provide the core features around how our customers deliver content to their buyers. As we accelerate our growth, we’re looking for a Principal Front-End Engineer to join our team. As a principal engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for all front-end solutions for our email solutions, but also play a mentor and leader for all scrum teams located in our Chicago office. You will have ownership of front-end design and implementation for Email Solutions and work close with a UI/UX designer to ensure users have awesome experience. You’ll ensure adherence to standardization of our front end architectures. Above all, you’ll take ownership of your work in an autonomous environment but be supported by other engineers to help you understand our complex, cloud native architecture.
Keen attention for user experience and a passion for delivering top notch front end solutions.
Deep knowledge of web components with an emphasis on performance.
Ability to work in a complex, cloud native, SaaS architecture, often consuming backend services.
An intrinsic curiosity for learning with a “fail fast” mentality.
Ability to communicate technical challenges and collaborate with geographically dispersed team members.
A good understanding of software integrations, web services, and APIs.
Excitement working in a fast paced environment leveraging modern CICD practices.
Solid front end testing experience.
What you’ll need to be successful:
B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
2+ years of front-end architecture experience
Experience developing web based solutions at scale, preferably in the enterprise SaaS space.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvements for the team and the technology.
A team first, “we win together” mentality that fosters idea sharing across all levels of the team.
Ability to solve complex problems and implement reusable solutions.
Experience with Microsoft stack (C#, .Net, Azure) a plus.
