The IT Support Technician is responsible for supporting the technological needs of the company. This includes serving both internal staff, as well as clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining company computers/equipment, creating/maintaining project data archives, managing the video streaming site, supporting telecommunication needs, and troubleshooting technical problems. The IT Support Technician also supports specific project needs as they arise. This position has room for learning and growth as the company expands from one office location to multi-site over the next 12-18 months!

Your primary responsibilities would be:
Maintain company computers (e.g., virus removal, software installation, etc.)
Maintain all office technology (e.g., TVs, projectors, Comstar™ phone systems, internet routers, etc.)
Manage user access to a variety of systems
Manage company’s video-streaming website / portal
Server maintenance
Create and maintain accessible data and video archives
Ensure compliance with company’s IT Security Policy & Procedure, including keeping up-to-date documentation (e.g. access logs, etc.)
Troubleshoot technical problems

Other tasks may include:
Assist in the development of new technology and methods to support the changing needs of the company (e.g. multi-site)
Develop new programs to support project needs
Assist with assembly of mobile audio/video recording systems
Assist with maintenance of video equipment (e.g., video cameras, microphones, etc.)
Additional tasks as request by authorized personnel


What you will bring:
Minimum 3 years technical support / troubleshooting experience
Minimum 1 year server management experience
Proficient with PC and Mac computers
Data management and archiving experience (e.g., creating logical, functional file-naming and organization conventions, creating/maintaining searchable intranet databases, developing secure FTP applications for large-scale file sharing across multiple offices, disaster recovery, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
Evidence of interdisciplinary collaboration
A passion to learn new skills
Availability to work full-time from our Philadelphia office (M-F, 830am-5pm EST)

We would also love to see:
Networking experience
Experience with HD video cameras, microphones, or/and other recording equipment is a plus
Programming/scripting experience with a high-level language (e.g., Python, R) beneficial
Experience providing IT support to remote-staff
