Full Stack Developer (entry-junior level )

GreenZone is currently seeking an entry-junior level Full Stack Developer to contribute to an exciting federal project to transform and modernize applications and data platforms. This is an exciting opportunity which will allow qualified candidates to further develop their skills and expand their area of expertise!


Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements applications
Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
Researches, tests, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software
Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
Participates in development of user manuals

A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another related field is required; Master’s degree preferred
A minimum of 1 year related work experience is required
Experience with 1 of the following programming languages: Angular, Java
Experience with 1 or more of the following databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch and Memcache
Experience with 1 or more of the following software development tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd, and Service Desk
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Some remote is possible (25% remote)
