Objective: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Parts Delivery Driver to deliver parts to our customers within a 100-mile radius. The ideal candidate will be safe, responsible and efficient.
- Operate company vehicles according to DOT rules and regulations
- Check orders prior to delivery and match orders to delivery
- Load and unload materials before, during, and after deliveries
- Ensure delivery truck is clean and PMs are completed as required
- Ensure all material is properly secured and within regulated weight limits
- Notify management of safety concerns and vehicle maintenance or repair issues
- Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with customers
- Follow company and customer procedures for delivering materials, recordkeeping, and obtaining signatures
- Assist with general warehouse, shipping and receiving, and parts counter responsibilities when needed (cross-training provided)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 18 years or older, insurable by company insurance policy
- Ability to operate company vehicles according to DOT rules and regulations
- Ability to lift heavy materials and load/unload delivery truck
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical demands of this job are classified as Light: exerting 16 to 50 pounds of force or lifting occasionally, and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force or lifting frequently to move objects.
