Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Manhattan Beach, CA.
We are looking for a proven self-starter who has a passion for Human Resources. This individual will have exceptional communication skills and will love working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. We are a growing team and we are looking for an individual with a bias towards action who has exceptional excel and analytical skills who enjoys multi-tasking.
Partner with HR leadership to understand business issues and work to help develop solutions to support HR business objectives
Support leaders and employees on human resource matters and issue resolution through partnership with key stakeholders such as the HR Service Center, HR Centers of Excellence, and HR Business Partners
Assist with developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives
Assist with employee communication initiatives; updating records; managing, tracking, processing and compiling sensitive and confidential data
Provide assistance on performance management planning
Assist leaders and employees on interpreting HR policies and procedures
Support HR team including:
Preparation of presentations
Run HR System database queries, metrics and report development
Expense report management, and travel coordination
HR projects and event coordination

Customer focused skill sets
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of 6 years of experience in an administrative role
Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel) i.e. pivot tables, macros, V-Lookups, charts, etc.
Experience with HR Databases - PeopleSoft
Experience working in an HR department
A.S. Degree with 6 years of experience in a HR role within a large HR matrixes organization or BS degree in related field with 4 years of experience
Prior HR internship experience supporting multiple stakeholder groups
MS in a Human Resources related field
