Job Summary
As a Legal Lot Closing Coordinator, you will assist in facilitating the lot closing process for the Fischer Group by collaborating with different departments and team members. These skills will be used to:
- Maintain Legal Closing Coordinators' schedules.
- Facilitate lot closing electronic real estate filings to comply with stringent timelines.
- Maintain a tickler system to validate the completion of all closings.
- Follow up, track, and maintain the original post-closing documents, such as recorded deeds, lien releases, mortgage releases, and title policies to support the homebuilding closing process.
- Monitor the projected job start schedule in conjunction with construction start dates.
- Support closing processes with Senior Closing Coordinators.
- Monitor plat recordation for use in ordering title exams.
- Enter data relevant to Lot Takedown Reports and internal lot tracking.
- Produce and verify data entry related to lot closings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years experience in a law firm, title insurance company, homebuilder, lending institution, or equivalent field.
Physical demands and work environment:
- Must use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the telephone and face-to-face contact.
- Must be able to effectively use and operate office-related equipment such as but not limited to the computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
- Must be able to sit for long periods with low periods of reaching and standing.
This role is 100% in the office in Erlanger, Ky.
