As a member of the team that engages with our technology clients to deliver qualitative research in support of their strategic marketing issues, you will be responsible for key parts of our service delivery, doing some or all of the following:
Working directly with the client account teams to scope, design, and execute qualitative research, particularly in the area of go to market
Leading qualitative engagements end to end and directly execute primary research, including:
Owning the development of all qual research artifacts, from screeners and discussion guides to stimuli and final reports
Working directly with client and account teams on the creation and refinement of the above.
Moderating qualitative sessions and leading the synthesis of findings to result in final deliverables
Ensuring that clients derive compelling and actionable insights from our work, both in your ongoing interactions with them and through all project deliverables
Helping to scope and build compelling proposals for potential new projects
Serving as a trusted partner and go-to resource to both our internal account team colleagues and clients
You must have:
Demonstrated understanding of and expertise with commercial cloud technologies, technology platforms, and/or development platforms.
2+ years at a technology company (established or startup) in a Product, Marketing or Strategy role, preferably focused on technical audiences
Familiarity and/or direct experience with primary qualitative research and consulting
We also expect that you have:
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects with diverse stakeholders and hard deadlines to completion, on time and at a high level of quality, with limited guidance and direction.
Expertise in understanding complex, ambiguous concepts and distilling them into crisp learnings and insights.
Comfort with and confidence in communicating with client stakeholders at a variety of levels, directly in person, on calls and over email.
An aptitude for translating unstructured qualitative insights into visually compelling frameworks
A strong work ethic. You will often work with limited supervision and will always be expected to deliver exceptional work.
A desire and ability to travel both domestically and internationally 50% of the time or more
A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
5 -7+ years of relevant work experience
An MBA with an emphasis in marketing, strategy, business management or similar
