What you’ll be doing...
The Event Demand Generation Specialist will be responsible for supporting the demand generation components of Tier 1 and Tier 2 tradeshow leads, as well as webinars hosted on our BrightTalk platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of digital campaigns to help generate awareness pre-show/webinar, capture new contacts and accelerate event leads from booth visitor or webinar attendee to interested buyer.
You will work cross-functionally with Campaign strategists, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Intelligence, and Sales management to implement pre and post event demand generation tactics that drive traffic to tradeshow and webinars, ultimately generating new opportunities and sales pipeline.
Developing a set of scalable and repeatable “campaign-in-a-box” style marketing packages to drive Verizon booth traffic at third party events.
Partnering with campaign strategist and subject matter experts to implement appropriate campaign messaging based on audience type and interest area.
Collaborating with digital marketing channel owners to execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, web properties, and social media.
Developing and supporting a sales toolkit to enable BD teams to engage and convert prospects sourced from third party events.
Building a nurture methodology to ensure leads sourced from third-party events receive relevant, engaging, post-event communications.
Understanding program KPIs to create marketing dashboards to track and quantity the result of marketing activities on event booth traffic and sales pipeline.
Acting as the digital marketing and analytics expert supporting the events team.
Reporting on performance to goal and areas for optimization on a regular cadence.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
A bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience in digital marketing or demand generation teams.
Knowledge of campaign management and demand generation.
Two or more years of experience implementing demand generation tactics.
Knowledge of marketing automation systems (such as Eloqua, Marketo), as well as CRM systems (such as Salesforce.com).
Even better if you have:
A degree in business or marketing.
Technology or telecom experience.
Ability to navigate, influence, manage and lead a cross-functional team.
Knowledge of building B2B demand generation strategies and campaigns.
Knowledge about campaign effectiveness measured against KPIs
Experience with buyer’s journey, nurture tactics, personas and lead scoring.
Exceptional project time management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously in support of a wide variety of business leaders, all while demonstrating a professional demeanor, flexible attitude, and an enthusiasm for producing highly creative and thoughtful work.
Willingness to travel.
