Loss Prevention Officer – Full-Time

Fry's Electronics is seeking highly motivated individuals possessing excellent Loss Prevention skills to join our Loss Prevention team! Fry's Electronics Loss Prevention goal is to protect the assets of the company and maintain a safe environment for our customers and associates. Fry's Electronics retails over 50,000 electronic items with 34 superstores ranging in size from 50,000 to 180,000 square feet, as well as our online presence at Frys.com.

Role of the Loss Prevention Officer
Loss Prevention Officers work daily in all areas of the store and are involved in operations to help prevent losses the store can incur. Loss Prevention Officers are safety officers and are tasked with maintaining a safe environment for our customers and associates. Primary duties include:

Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report or investigate crimes

Conduct store audits to identify problem areas or procedural deficiencies

Maintain documentation or reports on security and safety related incidents or investigations

Conduct internal and external investigations leading to arrests


College, military, interview/interrogation and/or CCTV experience

Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new products and technologies

Strong ability to multitask

Strong experience with written and photographic documentation

Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Must have excellent communication skills, and be able to build relationships within the store and with the law enforcement community
