Studies website behavior patterns using site metric tools to analyze and optimize business results and user experience. Uses quantitative data gathered with advanced analysis tools to isolate traffic, custom tracking variables, click streams and drill-downs to develop an understanding of customer behavior, demographics and lifecycle. Coordinates report requirements with internal customers to meet business objectives. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations. Requires proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture. Recommends optimization for site architecture, URL rewrites and alternative directories. Supports web development evaluations with web analytical information.
This role will utilize data from a variety of sources (web, app, care, finance, CRM, etc) to glean insights and ultimately formulate those learnings into a set of recommendations for the business. The primary function is utilizing data to tell the story. Provide strategic insight that will help define and guide our web strategy. This role will glean insights used to drive web and app user experience, product roadmap, AB Testing roadmap, audience segmentation, targeting, etc. This individual will provide measurement requirements to the technical implementation team. This role will review web behavioral data in an effort to optimize the user experience and path to purchase. Collaborates with other groups including user experience, digital product management, digital marketing, digital analytics, and digital operations to deliver consistent user journey measurement, analysis, and insights. This individual will provide insights to our leadership team and various web functions.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
1.Strong knowledge of web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics preferred)
2.Strong knowledge of business intelligence platforms (MicroStrategy preferred)
3.Advanced MS Excel knowledge
4.Ability to analyze web and app performance, site behaviors, usability and effectiveness of functionality
5.Ability to problem solve and think critically about the optimal means to publish KPIs, reports, and dashboards in ways that are clear and actionable
6.Experience visualizing multiple disparate data sets into one cohesive digital story
7.Translate business insight gained through the use of web analytics platforms into actionable marketing strategy
8.Partner with the Digital Product Owners to identify areas of opportunity for customers to better service their own needs and reduce the amount of customer calls to the Sprint Care team
9.Progressive background in analytics and root cause that go well beyond simple trending and reporting or simple extraction of raw data
10.Provide Ad Hoc reporting and analytic support for the marketing, sales, product and care teams including upper management
11.Able to excel in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines that require managing multiple priorities concurrently
This position is located in Reston, VA
Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
