In addition to requisite passion, and experience, the ideal candidate should have experience selling technology products in data analytics, business intelligence/BI, or big data space. The candidate should have extensive experience building and leading front line sales teams, a strong metrics and operational mindset, and a history of overachieving team quotas.
Provide leadership to a collaborative, high-performing sales team: Inspire, empower, coach and motivate, while pairing business and revenue objectives with appropriate growth initiatives
Drive new models and process to produce an achievable, scalable sales “machine.”
Accurately forecast quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned region based on expertise in qualification and sales process review.
Direct sales activities within assigned area, set expectations, provide guidance, establish accurate plans and forecasts, prioritize efforts, hold the team accountable for building pipeline and executing each phase of the sales process, drive short-term and long-term results to maximize overall territory growth objectives.
Work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources; collaborate with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver company goals.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, partners, and competitors; develop proactive strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management and campaign nurturing within SFDC.
Foster teamwork across organizations, cultures, and geographies - and promote Tellius diversity and values.
Desired Skills and Experience
6-8+ years direct sales experience and 4+ years’ experience building and leading front line sales teams for a high growth technology company.
Experience with sale of enterprise software products and Saas solutions.
Previous sales experience with data analytics, business intelligence/BI, data integration or big data technology solutions.
Outstanding track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally and as a Sales leader.
Exude an entrepreneurial business savvy, operating within a start-up or hyper growth environment.
Proven aptitude to build high-performing teams, close business, build consensus, resolve conflict, solve tough business problems, roll-up sleeves and drive revenue.
Strong leadership and influencing skills; ability to negotiate and build strong business relationships both outside and within the organization.
Strong capabilities in planning and executing account strategy by segment and geography, creating and presenting sales plans, setting milestones, measuring performance and being accountable for results to executive management.
Excellent communicator; strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; effective at delivering executive level presentations.
