Flies aircraft and serves as Pilot-in-Command(PIC) on company aircraft. Prepare and file flight plans for all destinations. Review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel requirements, and performance figures for airports of intended use. Ensure all operations are conducted within the capabilities of the aircraft and the crew and with the utmost regard to safety of flight. Reports directly to the Chief Pilot.
Serve as Pilot-in Command (PIC) on company aircraft.
Schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation, preflight inspections are performed
Study current and forecast weather conditions at departure, enroute, destination, and alternate airports, making arrangements for overnight lodging, catering orders and fuel availability including discounts for each flight.
When acting as PIC, reviews weather and airport conditions, evaluates fuel requirements and aircraft performance figures to ensure safety of flight.
Prepares and files flight plans for all destinations. Ensures all operations conducted within capabilities of the aircraft and crew, with utmost regard for safety of flight.
Will adhere to company Flight Operations Manual, aircraft specific SOPs and all FAA and foreign regulations.
General duties to include, but not limited to, normal flight responsibilities, travel tasks, passenger requirements and other administrative duties as assigned by Chief Pilot to assure safe and superior service to company personnel and customs.
Employee will assist with the various assigned flight, and travel task and may accept other Administrative duties assigned by the Chief Pilot to assure safe and superior service to Conagra Brands personnel and customers daily.
Must have complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, how they operate normally, and all procedures used in the event of a system malfunction.
A general knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS), principles and practices, human factors, accident prevention, emergency response planning, accident and incident investigation.
Crew Resource Management (CRM) training and understanding for our environment.
Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, supervisors and customers.
Exhibit excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrate excellent piloting skills and conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
A minimum of 5,000 hours total flight time.
Cessna CE680 Type rating or experience preferred but not required.
Flight time should include a minimum of 2,000 hours pilot-in-command of multi-engine aircraft, of which 1,000 hours shall be in a jet-powered aircraft.
Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
First Class FAA Medical Certificate (Initial Hire)
FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Operator Permit.
Possesses a Bachelor Degree (preferred).
