Responsibilities
  • Facilitate meetings, capture action items, and initiate appropriate follow-up with individuals responsible for completion of action items on schedule • Analyze and interpret large amounts of program output data and information associated with research work plans, budget reports, and the like • Assist with identification of programmatic strengths and weaknesses • Work collaboratively with all ONL team members as well as represent ONL to others in leadership roles • Review and edit program documents (e.g., work plans, strategic plans, meeting agendas, outreach & marketing materials, and the like) • Prepare draft responses for ONL and federal data calls • Develop and update program briefings as defined by ONL or other government mandated guidance • Prepare responses to data calls tasks as assigned; research, gather, and document findings for requests • Support ONL Deputy Directors with correspondence, data requests • Document relevant discussions and programmatic reviews • Archive and manage files (database management) to maintain a record of relevant program documents (i.e., ONL Work Plans and Annual Reports) and correspondence in accordance to DHS Records Management guidance • Coordinate information exchanges between ONL departments or labs • Coordinate flow and distribution of reports and action items • Perform data analysis as required • Assist with report writing and compilation as directed (communications plan, communications documents, lab templates, briefing packages) • Implement process improvement initiatives as approved by ONL Director • Execute daily administrative duties (meeting planning, action item follow-up)
Qualifications
Secret Clearance• 10-plus years’ experience • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills • Manage multiple assignments from multiple people in busy work environment • Work independently, initiate best business practices to support senior leadership, and perform duties with a customer service attitude
