Job Overview This position requires fundamental IT acumen and experience leading both people and projects. The primary role is overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO) in Engineering IT. Engineering IT is the global team that designs, develops, optimizes, and runs the Engineering support team. The key activities include, but are not limited to, protecting the companys data, tools, and information systems; ensuring solution standards; maximizing efficiency; and supporting platform compatibility. Requires subject matter knowledge of Project management methodology. Coordinates project and program delivery in partnership with multiple cross functional teams including other IT teams and Engineering. Selects, develops, coaches, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the PMO office. RESPONSIBILITIES - Working independently with little supervision. - Providing supervision to direct reports. - Making decisions that are significant in impact, influencing overall program or project success, finances, and/or the ability to meet objectives. Errors are not readily apparent due to the complexity of work process/product or time between decisions and results. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of IT-relevant work experience OR 9+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a bachelors degree.
4+ years experience leading projects/programs.
Preferred Qualifications 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience in IT.
