Seeking a part-time Level 1 desktop support technician for Mac and Windows.
We are a rapidly growing Managed IT Services Provider located in downtown San Francisco. We provide IT support to businesses of 20 to 300 users and service a wide range of companies including tech, professional services, financial services, and others.
We are hiring for the position of part-time Level 1 IT/desktop support technician to support a 100+ user startup in the San Francisco SOMA area. We may also ask you to support other smaller clients in the same area.
The part-time Level 1 desktop support technician position requires that you have a solid understanding of Macs and PCs and experience in network troubleshooting. You should also have a great customer service presence and a can-do attitude.
Ideally you have 5+ years of experience in an IT support-related position and you should have the following skills :
This job will start as a part time position of about 3-4 days/20-25 hours per week. Hours will likely increase as the client grows and workload expands.
You must have availability between 9AM and 5PM, 5 days a week.
You will be paid as an independent 1099 contractor with an option to become a W2 Level 1 desktop support technician with benefits (health insurance, time off, 401K) after a probationary period.
