STATEMENT OF THE JOB
The purpose of the BIS is to oversee the psychological and behavioral needs of the individuals in our IRAs and Day Hab programs.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The BIS reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services or designee.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Participate as a team member of the individual program planning.
2. Develop and monitor individual behavior management plans.
3. Maintain ongoing clinical notes.
4. Provide annual and semiannual behavioral information to the Care Managers for Life plans and six-month updates.
5. Provide training to program staff and participate in certified required trainings
6. Provide individual and group counseling to individuals as indicated in program plans.
7. Provide behavioral information to psychiatrists as needed.
8. Provide testing as needed.
9. Provide Psychological assessments for individuals in process applying for GHO services.
10. Participate in internal Agency committees. (i.e., IRC, HRC and Grand Rounds)
11. Ensure the health and safety of every individual.
12. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Master’s Degree in Psychology required.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
At least 1-3 year experience working with the intellectually disabled population.

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
