Pursuant is seeking a self-motivated, talented, and experienced Director of IT to join our fast-moving team. We are seeking someone highly technical, hands-on, and customer and outcome focused. The Director of IT is responsible for the vision and leadership of our information technology initiatives and directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems and services. The Director of IT will play an integral role in defining and implementing internal processes and procedures while managing the technology infrastructure of the organization such as network, servers, email, telephony, storage, backups, and information security. The Director of IT reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for all aspects of information technology and systems.

Implementation, operation and overall management of the IT infrastructure, systems, security, and compliance
High-level of knowledge and support of both Network and Server/Systems
Provide hands-on support as well as coaching and mentoring to the IT team
Evaluate and monitor external and internal threat levels; assess the organization’s defense against risks and implement mitigating controls and remedies
Develop, maintain and document security policies, and network configurations
Serve as a liaison with leadership, legal, compliance and corporate risk management to analyze new requirements, standards, and capabilities
Partner with Operations team to drive adoption and implementation of information security policies, procedures, standards and incident handling processes

10+ years experience in the Information Technology field
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and/or combination of education/certificates and equivalent work experience
Substantial experience and skills with cloud platform services, network and server systems, data security, and security compliance
Experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development
Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
Knowledge of business processes, management, budgeting, and office operations
Ability to communicate in non-technical terms to business stakeholders – written and oral
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative role across multiple disciplines and diverse environments
Strong, open and collaborative work style with a service-oriented attitude
Excellent time management skills
