What We Offer
In keeping with the Mattamy Mission of providing The Best Homeowner Experience, The Welcome Center Manager resides within the Information Center of a large master planned community and is responsible for setting up and overseeing processes that will provide prospective, new and current residents the information they need to be able to call the community “home”. The Welcome Center Manager work will assess visitor needs, provide relevant and accurate information about the community, its neighborhoods, the homes offered, its amenities, retail offerings, the history, and, when applicable, facilitate engagement with homebuilders.
Additionally, this role will assist in capturing registration information, leverage marketing tools to customize information, maintain follow-up communication, and foster post-visit relationships in a manner that leads to desired results—purchase of a home in community or remaining high on the buyer’s consideration list by providing tailored information. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
First point of contact with those who visit or reach out to the Information Center via online or phone and provide information about the community experience.
Maintains a professional appearance and an energetic, outgoing and positive attitude to promote the community as a great place to live and play.
Gathers information from visitors to identify needs and provide information and guidance that assists a home buyer decide to make the community their home.
Help de-clutter the buying process and provide a roadmap for exploring options for living in the community.
Follows-up with prospects via phone and email to further help them understand the community’s offerings, stay up to date on the residential and commercial development, and to provide them with resources and information that helps them continue their home search.
Evaluate consumers’ activity and interests to determine proper customized follow-up communications.
Supports clerical aspects of Information Center and record visitor information in CRM database for internal and external reporting needs.
CRM Management and customer updates – able to pull and develop relevant reports.
Ensures inventory levels of printed materials are maintained including maps, brochures, and community information used to communicate with visitors and potential homebuyers.
Organizes and maintains displays and materials located in the Welcome Center and maintains accurate and up-to-date information.
Establishes strong relationships with builder sales representatives to facilitate an exchange of information.
Conducts monthly neighborhood and sales center and model visits and report on development updates, sales & traffic trends, etc.
Organizes and assists with community outreach initiatives with key partners.
Stays up to date on all community information and activities, including specific stats and dates for residential neighborhoods and commercial areas.
Complies with visitor engagement, homebuilder engagement and scripting requirements as defined in Ambassador Training Manual.
Schedules, trains, and manages the activities of the Ambassadors in the Welcome Center.
Able to assume new responsibilities as deemed necessary and perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Licensed Real estate sales agent preferred. Associate degree plus 3-5 years’ related experience.
- Work Schedule: 5 days per week. Must be able to work at least 2 weekend shifts per month.
- Previous experience using Oracle Sales Cloud
- Ability to learn/be trained on Oracle Marketing Cloud (Eloqua)
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer relation skills; excellent verbal / written communication skills.
- Previous customer service or sales experience; excellent presentation skills mandatory
- Ability to work productively with little direction or supervision.
- Ability to maintain an upbeat and personable attitude.
- Strong CRM/database entry: working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous management/supervisory experience.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License be able to drive to/from sites, offices and more.
