The Product Development team within Global Spread Products is seeking an experienced Product Manager. Reporting through the COO line, this person will work closely with sales, trading, banking and technology on multiple fronts to help execute strategic goals. Product Development sits at the intersection of sales, trading, structuring, capital markets origination and technology and is responsible for implementing process improvements and realizing senior management's vision. Our team oversees a wide array of front office systems including pricing and risk, trade capture, inventory management, origination, securitization, sales dashboards, management reporting, electronic trading and database management.

Global Spread Products is the primary source of capital for corporations, governments, and non-profits, providing liquidity and innovative solutions globally across the credit, municipal, and securitized markets.

Job Responsibilities:
Partner with various business lines to prioritize technology efforts, manage tactical projects and implement process improvements

Identify areas for improvement by working with users and their management teams; prototype solutions and develop business requirements or reengineer workflows as necessary

Collaborate with technology counterparts to define requirements and ensure proper governance over applications development, testing and releases

Partner with internal organizations such as finance, risk, middle office and compliance to improve cross functional workflows, feeds and reporting

Provide user training, solicit feedback and drive systems adoption

Maintain and prioritize detailed project plans

Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide reporting as needed


Candidate is required to have a BA/BS

5+ years’ experience in project management, technology or business consulting. Front office experience preferred

Ability to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines with changing priorities

Experience with SQL, VBA, Qlikview, Cognos or other BI/data visualization tools is preferred

Strong data querying, MS Excel and quantitative skills required

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines

Must have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and inquisitive with an interest in financial markets

Experience with Credit Trading (flow or structured), Securitized Markets, or other Fixed Income products a plus
