The Sr. Project Manager will lead and mentor project teams and vendor resources to successfully complete projects with adhering to defined best practices and project management methodology – Waterfall and Agile. The Sr. Project Manager will assist in defining these best practices and project management methodology to be used by the organization. The Sr. Project Manager will also assist with portfolio and resource management for the internal technology team and enterprise wide for enterprise project resources. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation through closure. These initiatives will involve daily hands on management of technology activities utilizing Agile and Scrum based software development practices; with additional responsibilities to include non-technical tasks. This role requires a wide range of leadership competencies, technical (PM) experience and communications skills. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives. Key project management responsibilities include creating clear and attainable project objectives, building/gathering the project requirements/project plan, and managing the constraints of the project: budget, timeline, scope, and quality. The project manager bridges the gap between the production team and business partner. The Sr. Project Manager must have a fair knowledge of the industry in order to understand, add value and discuss the problems with all parties. The ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of the contracting party, and to form close links with nominated representatives, is essential in ensuring that the key issues of cost, time, quality and above all, client satisfaction, can be realized. The Sr. Project Manager will manage multiple projects with varying degrees of resources (departmental and cross-functional) and budgets. Post-Graduate Degree M.A. / M.S. / MBA Bachelor's Degree Certified Scrum Master PMP Certification
MS Project Sql Familiarity with various related operating, improvement and compliance frameworks such as ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean, and PMI Working knowledge of Agile concepts such as SCRUM, Khanban, TDD, etc. 5 to 10 years relevant work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Exposure to project management methodologies, networks, telecommunications, call centers, business applications and/or software development 10+ years of Project Management experience 10+ years of Information Technology Project Management experience 5+ years of Credit Union or Financial industry experience preferred 3+ years of hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, executing Scrum Master responsibilities preferred Technical leadership Should be highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects. Must have excellent leadership, team management, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.
