Full Job Description

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Summary

Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned walk-in clinic(s). Works in collaboration with clinical team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.

Education

Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Must be enrolled or graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program or must have worked as a Medical Assistant five of the last seven years.

Licensure/Certification

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through AAMA or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT within one year of employment. CPR required.

Other Qualifications

Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations service excellence clinical quality initiatives preferred. Must be familiar with computers electronic medical record experience preferred. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
