Perform administrative duties to support the Health Care Fraud unit and complete special projects for the Chief of the Health Care Fraud and other management personnel.
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including PCs, printers, photocopiers, scanners, telephone systems, fax machines, numbering and binding equipment, etc.
Must be able to write and print clearly. Must have typing/keyboarding skills and good communication skills. Attention to detail very important.
Must take the initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete task correctly (e.g. where instructions are not explicit or appear to be contrary to the task objective).
Ability to work well in a team environment and ability to read and follow instructions very important.
Must be able to prioritize and manage work for a number of people.
High school diploma or GED required.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with DOJ components, Federal agencies, counsel and others as needed.
Research and compile data from a variety of reference sources, preparing substantive indices upon request; summarize articles, reports, etc.
Proofread material as needed for contextual, grammatical and formatting errors.
Highly organized and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Deliver consistent high quality work product in a deadline driven environment under extreme pressure.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; knowledge of cite checking, bluebooking and document/discovery management applications.
Familiarity with the Criminal Justice system
Persistent, diligent attitude towards work assignments.
Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays, often with little to no advance notice.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.00 GPA.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to travel (estimated 25% travel).
