Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAM programming and operating CNC machines to fabricate precision components.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CNC programs using CAM software
- Set up and operate CNC machines such as milling machines
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments like bore gauges
- Understand geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize machining processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues
Skills
- Proficiency in CAM programming and CNC operation
- Knowledge of machining processes and materials
- Experience with AutoCAD for design and programming
- Familiarity with bore gauges and other precision measuring tools
- Strong understanding of geometry and GD&T concepts
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $29.75 - $31.45 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience:
- CNC: 2 years (Preferred)
- CNC programming: 2 years (Required)
- CAM programming: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Houston, TX 77002 (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Houston, TX 77002: Relocate before starting work (Required)
