Expected Starting Salary Range: 30.91 - 38.92
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: HR support for client group Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities.
SCOPE: Maintain strong working relationships with leaders; colleagues; and other key stakeholders. Respond to requests quickly and effectively. Identify and understand customer needs and expectations. Communicate relevant information to clients; colleagues; and other key stakeholders.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate relevant information to clients, colleagues, and other key stakeholders. Meets service level guarantees. Partner with Consultants and Clients to solve organizational issues. Take the lead as a source of information regarding departmental/divisional issues; research and take the lead in the resolution of problems. Promote and maintain positive employee relations, including proactively identifying, managing and resolving employee relations concerns; Partner with supervisors to create specific action plans for addressing individual employee behavior and/or performance concerns; Identify resources to assist clients in addressing employee relations concerns.
- Data Management and Analysis
Complete encounter or investigation documentation in a timely fashion. Assist in the preparation of required and supporting documentation for: unemployment claims, conflict resolution claims, federal and state agency claims and employment related litigation. Assist in measuring, assessing and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of human resources services. Analyze data to identify trends and offer solutions to effectively manage problematic trends. May research issues related to assigned projects. Distribute reports and when necessary interpret reports to the necessary parties. May provide data to assist with audits and/or maintain records. May process and distribute ad hoc requests for information as requested.
Assess all aspects of employment needs to achieve business goals (staffing, experience, knowledge and skill development, and succession planning); Identify resources to assist clients in meeting strategic Human Capital goals related to retention, development, succession, and talent and performance management.
Interpret CCHMC policies and counsel employees and managers regarding their responsibilities and rights as CCHMC employees; Assist and facilitate the equitable resolution of job-related complaints and concerns; and Conduct internal investigations and report findings as appropriate.
Provide and consistently document decisions in keeping with best practices and to minimize risk in employee relations situations. Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2 - 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
