When it comes to network switching products and network management systems, Dell is at the cutting edge. Our Network Development Engineering team is responsible for their design, development and testing. Focused on the needs of our customers within the changing world of technology, we ensure all software and hardware products are interoperable and compatible with network standards.
Design and develop core infrastructure components that interact between networking applications, TCP/IP stack, and switching ASICs
Own product features and manage them through complete software development cycle including specifications, design, develop, test, and automation
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical fields is required
5+ years of in-depth experience in developing software for enterprise grade infrastructure (networking, storage, security, etc) products is required
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages is highly required
Strong Interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
A strong desire to take on new challenges
Prior work experience or knowledge in Linux networking stack is highly desired
Experience in one of the networking protocols or L2/L3 Networking is highly desired
