Our firm relies on high-caliber people working together effectively. Human Resources works with managers in all business areas to design, implement and manage our firm's policies and programs pertaining to recruiting, training, development, staffing, career management, diversity, compensation, benefits and employee relations. The global CIB Learning & Development team addresses talent management and development, performance management, diversity, change management, leadership and management training, professional and technical skills training. The team may undertake research to assess and diagnose issues, and then design and implement solutions. These may include programs, off-sites, training sessions, communications and events. The scale is global, with training programs rolled out across the CIB, or individual, such as coaching a senior manager. All this is achieved with the active partnership of the business and our HR Business Partner colleagues.
This individual will be based in Plano, primarily focusing on the CIB Front Office Development agenda supporting 5 CIB Operating Committee members
The successful candidate should be comfortable partnering closely with Talent, Development and HRBP/BA colleagues globally.
Roles and Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity to work with established L&D specialists to develop your own skills, while adding value to a stimulating, energetic and interesting client group. The individual will:
Support execution of performance management and talent management processes in line with CIB and firm-wide processes
Drive talent and diversity approaches and implement new and ongoing initiatives
Advise HR Business Partners and managers on group, team and individual development
Program Design and partner with Program Managers, HR Business Partners, Development, and clients/subject matter experts to design and deliver courses using a combination of internal and external resources. Help secure client sponsorship of training/participation from the business.
Partner with colleagues on program and session development, implementation and evaluation, which may include working on sponsorship, vendors, participants, logistics, tracking, budgeting, and communications
Implement initiatives to address people issues within the line of business e.g. culture change programs, leadership development, diversity strategies, etc.
Project manage specific global, cross line of business programs and processes
Analyze, diagnose and report on individual and organizational issues based on data
Strong experience working with HR stakeholders, with an aptitude for building strong relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to influence stakeholders and balance competing needs, to reach a mutually agreeable solution
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; exercises good judgment and makes sound business decisions independently
Flexible, responsive and adaptable, able to manage a range of priorities, with the ability to work well in a team with others in a matrix environment
Strong project and time management skills, ability to multi-task, and pays attention to detail
Initiative, results oriented - maintains a sense of urgency, follows-up and meets deadlines. Comfort working in a fast-paced setting.
Highly effective analytical skills - ability to provide clear, effective and concise reporting / extract themes / draw conclusions, ability to assess situations using both qualitative and quantitative factors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint (creating & editing presentations), and Excel (v-look ups & pivot tables). Knowledge of PitchPro is a plus.
