Motor Trend Group is seeking a full-time Video Producer, Newsroom for the El Segundo, CA office.

The Video Producer, Newsroom (full-time, salaried, regular) will be responsible for all video production and editing needs pertaining to the Newsroom as they are completing short, social media-friendly content day-to-day. This position involves occasional travel with or without the Newsroom team to cover events, specific vehicles or collections and lifestyle content. In order to remain at the forefront of digital media, this individual must keep up-to-date with best practices and industry breakthroughs. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage on set production in order to create desired video projects.
Framing and documenting vehicles, product, and related product/subjects both static and in-motion, in-studio and in the field.
Media manage all incoming footage from live shoot.
Organize incoming footage and ensure completion prior to the designated deadline.
Pre-plan video shoots, short to long form, assuring all requested assets are collected in useable form.
Work with Producer to build a script, shot list, and/or storyboard.
Maintain feel and style of brand/subject matter during shoot.
Work with vertical edit teams and/or client throughout the post-production process for collaboration, feedback, and project updates.
3+ years’ experience with filming and editing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Understand videography equipment, lighting, and audio devices
Proficient in Premiere Pro.
Excellent visual creative eye.
Excellent time management skills.
Able to take direction well.
Must be able to work individually as well as in a team environment.
Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Understand videography equipment, lighting, and audio devices.

The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.
This position requires occasional travel including air and overnight travel both during and outside of normal business hours. (approx. 15%)

Work is primarily performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
Occasional work off-site at shoot location including seasonal weather conditions is required.
