Job Description

RoboMQ is hiring marketing specialist who can communicate product marketing strategy through words and images with a focus on inbound marketing for SaaS software products. This individual will be responsible for creating and leading content for all inbound channels - website, white papers, blogs, presentations and social media. She or he will also be involved in and be part of lead generation, pipeline management, social media and related marketing efforts. This position will work directly with senior leadership team in executing product marketing strategies. Being part of a fast-growing software company in area of iPaaS & Internet of Things (IoT), you will have ample opportunities to take bigger roles and grow with the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Express complex technology use cases in simple coherent text for consumption on web, social media and as white papers and case studies
  • Be an effective storyteller
  • Content creation including white papers, blog, images, videos and other multimedia for the web, mobile and social media
  • Creating and managing inbound and lead generation campaigns
  • Work with product team on alignment of the marketing messaging to the product roadmap
  • Work with supporting technical teams for web development and content creation
  • Manage leads, prospects and sales activity on marketing management and CRM platform
  • Work with technical teams in designing UX and visual elements
  • Manage partner relationship with cloud marketplaces, reseller channel and OEM partnerships

The candidates should be comfortable working with team members in a highly interactive environment. You will on a regular basis interact with the technical members of the product team and will work with them to ensure product marketing fit. You will be a problem solver and must demonstrate a solid background and understanding of marketing, sales, technology and interpersonal communication and have an aptitude and willingness to learn at a fast pace.

  • Bachelors or a master’s degree preferably in humanities, literature or marketing.
  • Strong English language skills on verbal and written communication. You should be a concise and coherent story teller.
  • Aptitude to grasp technology and be comfortable working with technical teams
  • Prior experience in content marketing, pre-sales and sales activities for software companies
  • Experience in managing partnership and ecosystems
  • Pleasant and charming personality with an ability to engage prospective customers through various medium
  • Experience of managing and tracking interactions, lead generation and follow up over email, phone and in person
  • Strong presentations skills to senior management and prospects
  • Experience of content creation using Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud and other design and media tools
  • Experience of Wordpress or other CMS systems
  • Ability to cope under high demand, handle multiple priorities, projects and tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with the product teams and the customer
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to end users, create documents and presentation and be able to effectively communicate ideas
  • Willingness, desire and sharp aptitude to learn new technologies and skills and be open to work on challenging assignment as they evolve
