Your Role and Responsibilities
As Program Manager, you will have ownership over functions related to security initiatives and compliance projects. With a keen focus on process improvement, you'll drive the completion of assigned initiatives - either through individual contribution or delegation - with internal and external teams while simultaneously managing delivery of multiple security or compliance related projects and initiatives.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute directly to the ongoing development, maintenance and validation of the security posture of the IBM Cloud.
Develop security automation and evidence gathering tools
Develop and maintain security target architectures
Build and extend partnerships with the broader cloud architecture teams to ensure security architectures are embedded into the service framework
Develop and deliver status reports to management and other stakeholders including issue/action item logs, project status, and risks
Continuously iterate to refine project execution approach, while proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential roadblocks, and pivot when necessary with contingency plans to ensure project success
Identify and manage project dependencies, critical path items, and project risks to enable planning, scheduling and tracking of project timelines and milestones
Conduct post-project reviews through retrospectives to foster ongoing continuous improvement and process development
Give and receive constructive feedback in the spirit of continuous improvement
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of colleagues
6+ years of relevant program management experience working with security or compliance teams.
Practical experience in operations or process improvement, managing daily operations and adjusting priorities to address customer requests
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification
Experience in IT GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance)
Experience in dealing with regulators and auditors
Familiarity with project tracking applications (preferably JIRA)
