About Us. West Coast Dental Administrative Services, LLC (WCD) is a fast-growing provider of support services for dental offices with over $100 million in revenues and nine-hundred employees and contractors presently. WCD has over thirty years of experience in the dental space and a highly experienced executive and operational management team.
About Our PE Backing. In mid-2022, a multi-billion PE company with extensive experience in the dental space acquired a majority interest in WCD. The company has a current base of over forty dental offices throughout Southern California. It is on a mission to achieve excellence in all aspects of its operations and substantial growth over the next five years in several markets through organic growth, de novo office expansion and acquisitions.
About You. WCD is looking for a highly capable, experienced, and talented CDO to join our team and help lead in our mission. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a dental office, as well as experience in dental administration and management. The individual must have strong leadership, communication, organization and time-management skills. The individual must enjoy working and collaborating with other experienced, motivated professionals—clinical, operational, financial, and executive—at all levels, from top executive to department leaders.
We are seeking someone who is highly intelligent, is a DDS/DMD, has at least eight-to-ten years of clinical management experience, and is excited about being a part of a highly-capable, driven team that is on a mission of excellence and growth.
Job Responsibilities. Job responsibilities include: Overseeing all aspects of clinical operations, including but not limited to treatment planning, infection control, quality assurance, and risk management, ensuring that the dental team provides the highest level of patient care in accordance with ethical and professional standards, mentor dental staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance, serve as a liaison between the dental staff and administration, communicating needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner, stay up-to-date on new developments in dentistry, keeping abreast of new technology and treatments
Compensation and Benefits. Depending upon experience, base compensation likely to range between $150,000 - $200,000 annually + discretionary bonus.
