About the Role:
The marketing Website Director at AppDynamics has a proven track record of building, managing, and optimizing websites for B2B software products. This person has a clear strategy and roadmap for a website and is keenly aware of the purpose and focus of web pages throughout the user journey. The Website Director will be accountable for key business metrics such as organic and direct website traffic, page conversion, time spent, pages viewed, and lead generation (form fills). This is a strategic, leadership position with International scope and a growing team of web producers and project leads.
The Website Director will collaborate with the rest of the Digital Marketing team, the Product Marketing team, the Web Developers, and the Content team to build a clear, effective user journey, optimize for KPI’s, and present users with high quality and useful content. Their success will be measured by website results for pipeline creation, new customer acquisition, and measurable improvements in customer experience.
Manage & implement overall strategy for appdynamics.com
Work with web engineering team to optimize website structure and content according to SEO and CRO best practices
Create contextual, dynamic experience for target audiences
Continually experiment with new ways to drive engagement and optimize leads/sales
Report monthly usage statistics
Work with stakeholders to develop content to support additional website needs
Collaborate with and educate campaign teams on SEO activities
Support demand gen efforts on landing page creation and optimization
Support Field Marketing team with high profile event web pages
Collaborate with Marketing Technology and Marketing Operations to evaluate and adopt new tools as needed
Support cross-functional stakeholders (such as Careers, PR, Community, etc) in web requirements
BS in related field
10+ years experience as Website Manager in a B2B SaaS business
Proven ability to translate buyer journey and personas, brand story and product messaging into an engaging experience for users
Demonstrated ability to balance the demands and requirements of multiple departments and stakeholders while managing priorities to support business goals
Strong communication and project management skills
Experience with Google Analytics, Demandbase, Optimizely and Mezzanine CMS
