About the Role:
The Digital Marketing Leader will build, manage, and optimize digital experiences for prospects and customers at AppDynamics. This person will build a clear strategy and roadmap for the website, will optimize user journeys, and will manage digital channels and organic growth. The Digital Leader will be accountable for key business metrics such as organic and direct website traffic, page conversion, time spent, pages viewed, and lead generation, cost-per-lead, organic growth, and more. This is a high-profile, strategic, leadership position with managerial responsibilities and an International scope.

The Digital Leader will collaborate with the rest of Marketing to build user journeys, optimize web page effectiveness, and present visitors with high quality and useful content. Your success will be measured by website results for pipeline creation, new customer acquisition, and measurable improvements in customer experience. The Digital Leader will:

Lead & implement the digital strategy for Appdynamics.com
Work with the web engineering team to optimize website structures and content according to SEO and CRO best practices
Create contextual, dynamic experiences for target audiences
Continually experiment with new ways to drive engagement and optimize leads/sales
Lead all paid media activities including SEM, paid social, content syndication, and more
Lead strategy and execution for all social channels
Lead projects for new web implementations or page requests
Collaborate with and educate teams on SEO best practices
Drive demand gen efforts for campaigns, event registration, and more
Support Field Marketing with high profile event web pages
Lead Marketing Technology and evaluate/adopt new tools as needed

Required Experience:
BS in related field
10+ years experience leading digital teams in B2B SaaS
Proven ability to translate buyer journey and personas, brand story and product messaging into an engaging experience for users
Demonstrated ability to balance the demands and requirements of multiple departments and stakeholders while managing priorities to support business goals
Strong communication and project management skills
Experience with Google Analytics, Demandbase, Optimizely and Mezzanine CMS
