Large plaintiff law firm is seeking an entrepreneurial systems & networking engineer excited about joining a quickly growing distributed team providing ongoing support for internal business operations and migration to cloud based solutions. Core technologies include VMWare, Microsoft, Cisco Call Manager, teleconferencing, and various routing protocols with a focus on bringing increased accessibility, sustainability and security to our organization.
The ideal candidate has worked as a virtualization and/or networking engineer for at least 5 years and has experience managing a large production environment with little tolerance for downtime.
Support voice and unified communications hardware, software, equipment. Knowledge of CUCM, UCCX & CMCU. VoIP/UC systems and operations and Cisco experience required.
Cisco system administration and maintenance activities and tasks with the responsibility for evaluation and architecture of all aspects of Unified communication.
Understanding of LAN/WAN network infrastructure architecture
Network Infrastructure Management Experience including Virtual Network technologies
Interact with business stakeholders providing technical consultation when needed
Network Security/Firewalls, ID Management, Intrusion Detection/Prevention (IDS/IPS) Experience
Implement security control systems to address requirements
System/application vulnerability assessment scans
Relevant industry certifications like CISSP, CCNP and/or VCP
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
